I have used this saw for a couple of months now. It was a toss-up between this and the SawStop Professional. I would have preferred the SawStop for the safety item but could not afford the price. I am now very comfortable with this saw and the difference does not bother me. The saw is very well built. The castor system works well for me, but it raises the saw only a small distance with a lot of cranking; perhaps 1/4". My garage seems perfectly flat, it is not and i have to crank it up a lot. The Rout-R-Lift is a different story all together- They should be ashamed to sell this piece of junk with such a fine saw. First the table has absolutely no provision for feather boards or a miter slot. Second the table is 3/4 plastic coated MDF. Completely unfit- I tossed it, cut down my router table board and installed it. Still the plate size of the Rout-R-Lift is too large to use the miter slot with a standard feather board; i have to make my own. Do youself a favor, get the...Read more
