Because it's specially made for job-site use, the JBTS-10MJS offers a host of design features that combine true portability with efficient performance. Secondly, rubber hand grips on each end of the table allow you to conveniently carry the saw without the stand. This review is from: Jet JBTS-10MJS 10-Inch Jobsite Table Saw (Tools & Home Improvement) I was fortunate enough to find a "used/in new condition" deal on this saw and I was ecstatic. I conducted over 3 months of research to find the saw I wanted and I even went to a Woodworker's Emporium shop to check out cabinet saws. Not that I have room for one, but wouldn't that be nice?The saw set up was fairly simple and quick enough that I could watch pre-season football at the same time without missing any steps. The only problem with this entire purchase was the shipping. Being that I ordered a like new product I understand there could be less than perfect packing, but nothing like I recieved. The box looked like it had been kicked around the wharehouse Ave Ventura style and promptly delivered to my doorstep just in time for the delivery guy to roll it up to the door and shake all the pieces for good measure. Everything about the saw is quality oriented except for the plastic base (from the stock picture, the area underneath the table that is white in color). Not sure how this will age, chip or even hold up to job site demands. Other then this, motor is powerful enough, everything else about the saw is great. The stand is strong, stable, easy to use and mobile enough to get around the job site. Compared to the Craftsmen that this saw replaced, I would never buy a Sear table saw again. Would highly recommend this saw!! |
