Jet 708482K JPS-10: 10-Inch ProShop Table saw 1-3/4HP 30-Inch Cast Wings

I ordered this saw to replace the old craftsman, First the saw arrived with the packaging in perfect shape, no banged up boxes. It came on a pallet and inclued 3 boxes. The saw is packed upside down in the crate, so the legs go on first. If you get this saw with a mobility stand consider using a ratchet strape to connect the saw and stand, that way when you upright it you won't have to lift it a second time. This saw had cast iron wings which are pretty flat and square, I used the flatest wing on the right side. The right wing is less than .003" of crown in the middle but both ends are dead flat. The left wing has betweem .006 and .007 of cup in the middle with the ends flush. I used a rubber mallet after securing the screws fairly snug, the adjustment was easy. The rest of the installation went very well. It took about 3 1/2 hours to install, but I was in no hurry. Throw the blade away (it's a 24 tooth piece of yard art)and get a good one (like a Forrest)

I have been using this saw now for a year. I originally was just using it for rough work so it was perfect. Now I have gotten int o some furnature building. I had to align the blade so it was perfectly paralel to the miter slot. The Fence does a good job and it too needed some tweaking to get it perfect on the miterslot.

Overall I am very happy.

Sweet, absolutely the nicest table saw I've ever owned. I moved up from a 10" craftsman to this Jet model. Very nice.
