We couldn't offer the gold standard in left tilting Cabinet Table Saws without offering an extended rip capacity version too. Just like the G0690 Table Saw in every other way, this saw also features a 50" rip capacity - more than enough to rip to the center of a standard sheet of plywood. The extension table features adjustable legs, square steel tubing frame & dimensionally stable top. True riving knife moves up, down & tilts with blade. Short riving knife is included. Tall splitter/riving knife that the blade guard mounts to is included as well. If you do any amount of cabinet or plywood work, this saw is the answer to your dreams! SPECIFICATIONS: ? Purchased this saw a few months ago. Very happy with it with the exception of a few minor details. The scale is off at one end. At cuts wider than 16 inches, the scale is right on when using a tape to measure from the blade to the fence. As the fence moves closer to the blade the scale is off by a 16th of an inch or more. When I adjust the indicating line with the fence close to the blade, the fence becomes inacurate as it moves away from the blade. Typically I use a tape measure when setting the distance from the fence to the blade, however at this price I would expect the scale to be more accurate. Additionally, the location of the on/off switch is such that I have shut my saw off several times while cutting by bumping the switch with my leg. The blade is more diificult to change than I'm use to with my old craftsman. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of the 5 is because of the shipping process. Just thought I'd share that I was contacted by email and had to pay an extra $35 for shipping to get a lift gate for the truck to set the saw on the curb. I was contacted 2 days before delivery and the time frame given was from 11 am to 2 pm. I had a friend who could help me when the saw arrived to get it from the curb to the shop. After 3 pm and no word from UPS, I called the terminal and they said the saw would arrive at 5 pm. Well after a day of waiting the truck finally arrived at 6 pm. Driver was nice and there was no damage during shipping but how about a courtesy call. The two things on the saw are the instructions for the front rail. This saw has a major flaw with the saw blade insert. One of the adjustment screws is offset(poor design).
