I bought this for my boyfriend who is a real carpenter. He has a bigger, better table saw as well, but he really wanted something more portable for his side jobs and fixing things around the house. He said you could never tell it was reconditioned and it is perfect for trim work and small things. He can easily take it with him and even bring it inside the house.
