The DeWalt DW744XRS kit is backed by a three-year warranty and is ready to go right out of the box.
Powerful Saw is the Lightest in Its Class
Weighing just 75 pounds, the table saw is the lightest jobsite saw in its class. Yet, the DW744X table saw is equipped with a powerful, 15-amp, 2,600 MWO motor that allows the 10-inch blade to reach speeds of 3,650 RPM for cutting hardwood and pressure-treated lumber.
While you're working, the saw's electronic feedback helps maintain blade speed and torque even in tough applications, and panel perforations improve the air flow to the motor to allow for better cooling during strenuous cuts.
At the same time, soft start lets the blade come up to speed without jumping, and a heavy-duty internal motor mechanism stabilizes the arbor, keeping vibration to a minimum. Additionally, telescoping rails retract within the saw top for easy portability, and the two-inch dust collection port connects to a vacuum for efficient dust extraction, resulting in better visibility and a cleaner work area.
Exclusive, Telescoping Fence
And without sacrificing portability, the table saw includes a patented telescoping Rack & Pinion fence system that delivers 24-1/2-inch rip capacity, and which maintains blade-to-fence parallelism within 1/64 inch for fast, smooth, and accurate cuts. Also, a generously sized, 26-1/2 x 19-1/4-inch table surface provides superior material support (maximum depths of 3-1/8 inches at 90 degrees and 2-1/4 inches at 45 degrees).
One-of-a-Kind Rolling Stand for Easy Mobility
The DW7440RS saw stand is equipped with large rubber wheels and a heavy-duty kickstand that allows the unit to balance upright for easy mobility and storage. The stand is the only one of its kind to offer a wide base and offset rear legs that provide stability and support for optimum control of material feed. The stand's folding legs are designed with quick-release levers that allow you to easily tuck the legs under the stand for easy transport.
For versatility, easily detachable brackets on the stand allow for quick disconnect of the table saw for loading and unloading. The rolling stand also has a retractable soft-grip handle that slides out, which means you can comfortably pull the saw behind you with the weight of the saw near the ground.
What's in the Box
DW744X table saw; DW7440RS saw stand; 10-inch, 24-tooth carbide blades; miter gauge; push stick; and manual.
I do however concur with one previous rater, you MUST check the accuracy of the gauge. Though it says it's calibrated at the factory, mine was off. Minor and easily adjusted.
It's not a light saw, but the mobile base rolls great once you have the saw mounted to the base.
Highly recommend it!
