Product Review

The DELTA 50-302 Outfeed Table helps facilitate handling of large panels and long stock by providing additional support, making it possible for one person to cut large panels. The two-piece set includes a 12 x 34-inch stationary and a 31 x 34-inch folding laminated tables. With a support leg made of steel and adjustable feet, you'll have stability and precise alignment. The DELTA 50-302 Outfeed Table is designed for use with the DELTA Unisaw 10-inch Tilting Arbor Saws, and can also be adapted to fit most other similar cabinet-type table saws. When not in use, the table easily folds out of the way.

When I bought my Platinum Ed. Delta Unisaw, I quickly realized that good support was an absolute necessity in ripping long stock and panel cutting. After much research on Outfeed Tables the unit that realy shined over the others was the 50-302 Delta. I decided against making my own table because by the time you add up a bill of material's w/hardware, it was just about comparable to purchasing one. Assembly and direction's were straight forward easy to follow respectively. It took me about 3 hrs. to assemble. The instructions suggest 2 people are needed for assembly but I honestly didn't have any problem's by myself! Here are the Pros and Cons as I see them: Pros: Fold down of the table via piano hinges saves space for small shops Easy to assemble Color blends in well w/Platinum Unisaws Sturdy and supports heavy stock Will fit a wide variety of Saw's Tables are completely sheathed for less warpage Pre-drilled screw holes were matched perfectly J-hook leg...Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars When you have a great Table Saw..., August 4, 2000

I just received my new Delta Uni-Saw and Outfeed Table...WOW! I assembled my new Saw and then it was on to my "extra toy", the Outfeed Table. I figured I'd give my family a break from hearing Dad yell, "I need some help out here" every time I had a big cut to make. Also, it just wasn't safe pushing 4 x 8 Oak Plywood through the saw alone or with one of your kids on the other end of that blade!!! Anyway, assembling the table was a breeze once I got over not knowing whether it would fit on a Beisemeyer Fence System. I read the instructions and called a ToolCrib Technician just to make sure since there was nothing said about the fence (other fences were noted). It took about 3 hours, mainly because I enjoyed it so much. Everything fit and worked just like the book said it would. It is a very nice addition to my new Uni-Saw.The only negative is the packaging. Such a heavy (and nice) table should be better protected and in a bigger box. I had a...Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful packaging, unlikely to survive UPS, March 15, 2001

This is one item I would recommend people purchase from a local dealer not Amazon. Like another reviewer mentioned the packaging is terrible. I received mine and the small stationary wooden top of the table was broken into three parts even though the external packaging showed no real damage. This part breaks where it has grooves routed into it across its width, it is so badly supported I would expect it to get broken in shipment more often than not. The movable part of the table top also had some cosmetic damage. Amazon has been helpful but a replacement top arrived damaged as well. I just ended up making my own parts to fix it. The table is actually pretty good and I needed a fold down table given lack of space in my garage.
