Received my new Unisaw last week and spent a day assymbling and aligning everything.I'm a journeyman toolmaker so I had the precision measuring instuments to accurately align everything - dial indicator, precision square, precision straight edge, and saw blade/fence alignment dial indicator tool from WOODPECKER TOOLS.
I discovered one of the cast iron extension wings was not flat with a .008 concave
belly in it. I imediately called Delta and they said they would send out a new extension wing. A week has gone by and as of yet I have not received the new wing.
The table insert Delta sent is useless, not flat at all. With all four corners leveled with the table the front edge of the insert sets .015 above the table. To solve this problem I bought a new LEECRAFT insert.
