DELTA 36-715B 1 3/4-Inch Left Tilt Hybrid Saw with 30-inch T2 Fence and Rail

Well there used to be a lot of reviews of this product here, but now there are none.
I bought this saw in its first year of production and have been very satisified with it.
The T2 fence is very high quality, fully adjustabe, and it works beautifully. After the initial setup it has remained parallel to the blade. In this class of tool this fence a very good match and spending more money to get a name brand gains very little if any in performance.
The miter gauge is a nice heavy duty unit that locks into the slot.
My saw came with a small laminated right side extension table even though the description did not list it.
This saw is a very nice machine for a hobbist wood worker, the accuracy is excellent.

I had narrowed my choices to 2 or 3 hybrid table saws. What finally settled me on this particular one was the really good price at Amazon when coupled with free delivery. I was a little uneasy, since this is the first time I have purchased something like this through Amazon. But everything was fine. I received my saw within 7 days. The delivery man called ahead of time to schedule for my convenience; he came with a hand-operated forklift and set the pallet in my garage right where I wanted it. Done within five minutes!

Well packaged to prevent damage. Took me about an hour to assemble. The biggest problem was the weight of the cast iron extensions, but I did manage to hold them up while installing the bolts.

Good saw. Good experience.

I recieved the saw in about 4 days, I was so excited I picked it up from the shipping wharehouse directly. Its a nice heavy saw, very quiet compared to a contractor saw which it replaced. Set up was simple and fast, I did it myself and the only difficult part was installing the wings (they are heavy). The cast iron wings are a nice addition compared to the steel I've seen on similar priced saws. Adjustments straight foward. The T2 fence and rail are accurate and easy to use. I'd recomend this saw to anyone, I've used Dela tools for over 10 years and they all still perform well!! This will be the crown Jewel of my Shop!!
